Sometimes Darkness Can Show You The Light

It was so genuine. Even now as I nurse my broken heart, I know it wasn't a game we were playing. It was a wish. It was an another time, another place kind of romance. It began as a friendship that sent a spark into our souls. We showed each other that our worlds could be re-lit. That it couldn't stay dark forever. If that is all that ever comes from our meetings then it was worth it.
